Physiotherapy

The term physiotherapy comes from the ancient Greek (physis = body). It is a form of topical application of remedies to help patients with musculoskeletal disorders. This is about improving movement and functional abilities as well as reducing pain problems.

When is physiotherapy useful?

Physiotherapy can be helpful preventively, for acute problems, as well as for chronic complaints. Due to a wide range of different therapy options, the treatment can be individually adapted to each patient. It is particularly important to us that the treatment is not only carried out passively, but that you as a patient can also take exercises home with you so that you can actively do something about the symptoms. The therapy should bring a long-term improvement.

Technologies and knowledge

We believe it is important that our patients should always have access to the latest healthcare technologies. We are happy to work with various interdisciplinary bodies in order to be able to offer you the best possible individual support. Our goal is to help as many people as possible to reduce complaints as quickly as possible and to try to avoid new complaints in the long term.

Course of therapy

During the first investigation, we make an overview of the existing problem. Here, the cause of the complaints is looked at in order to "get to the root of it". The body is a complex mechanism where everything is connected. For this very reason, the cause does not automatically lie in the body region of the complaints.

Once the cause has been found, we can set up a treatment plan in order to be able to achieve the fastest possible success in the treatment. We can use different forms of treatment.

Is physical therapy right for me?

For almost all complaints of the musculoskeletal system, physiotherapy is recommended as the main or accompanying therapy. However, an individual clarification should be made, either with your family doctor or with us. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.
